First, I'd like remind you please submit your essay by this Wednesday March 9th. We will have quiz on Chinese Book 6 Lesson 8, all new words and phrases.

This week we learned Chinese Book 6 Lesson 8 < Telescope> and Holistic Book One Lesson Two. Every students will need to do a little research during the week on how Telescope or Microscope works. You will talk to our class next week.

每周简报

经过了一个星期的休息，我们又回到了中文学习的课堂。今天每一位同学交上来的作业都非常工整，可以看出来同学们和家长们都付出了辛苦努力。

本周学习了中文第六册第八课《望远镜》以及课后阅读《显微镜》！我们给每位同学分了工，他们将会在下周给大家讲解望远镜和显微镜的工作原理。

After one week of winter break, we came back to our Chinese class today. Thanks to every students and their parents, all homework are very neat and good!

2/28：恢复上课，中文第六册第七课生字词小测验，讲授中文第六册第八课，同时交作业：作文2。

每周简报
本周我们进行了期中考试，考试成绩将会在成绩单中登出，请同学们查看。没能参加考试以及成绩不理想的同学可以在家中打印考卷，家中自考，周日交给老师。

我们班级准备在中国年时表演以下歌曲联唱，同时邀请Joshua, Elizabeth, Ruth, Christina&Catherine的父亲们一起和孩子们上台表演，Ruth同学将为我们进行钢琴伴奏。请同学们和父亲们在家中练习歌曲和动作。我们将于本周六晚上在教会青少年活动的间隙进行排练，请同学和家长们准时参加。

Weekly News

This week we did our Mid-term Exam, please check Schedule page later this week for your grade. For those who did not take the exam or want to get a better grade, you can print out the test and do it again at home, then submit to teacher the coming Sunday.

We will also do a Chinese song performance during Chinese New Year celebration at our Church. We invited Joshua, Elizabeth, Ruth, Christina&Catherine's father join us, and Ruth will play the piano. Please follow below links practice at home. We will have a rehearsal at Church this Saturday during Youth activity night, please make every effort to attend.
